I like lazy Sundays just as much as anyone else, and spending that lazy Sunday with my significant other, is icing on the cake. There's nothing like cozying up next to the one you love under a warm blanket, especially in the dead of winter. But when all we "can" (allowed to) watch is hours on end of football, I usually find myself catching up on other laz-e-boy friendly activities, like facebook, emails, paying bills, and online shopping.
Now don't get me wrong. I enjoy watching football. I even enjoy attending football games. But... JUST not quite as much as my boyfriend does. Some of you girls out there may have lucked out and either love football just as much as your husband/boyfriend does or some of you have found the rare breed that is not into football at all. But for the rest of us... it's all about maximizing those hours of games by spending time with your significant other while getting other things done or atleast not dying from boredom. Especially if we're not in California and its 14 degrees outside and we can't just go hangout with our girlfriends/shop/etc.
So in the spirit of finding ways to get through those games, whether it's while hanging out with your significant other, cousin, or brother, here's a teaser for my full-fledged blog titled: While Others Watch Football aka WOW Football, which will be in full effect next football season... or even earlier w/a slight tweak in the name (hey March Madness IS around the corner.)
What to DVR During the Games:
- 8pm ABC - SATC the movie. Not quite as atrocious as the 2nd movie, but the first one still clings on to some of its tv show glory, and worth DVRing.
- 8pm ABCFAM - Mean Girls 2. Likely not any good, but I'm slightly curious. Only slightly.
Relationships are all about give & take. Now that the game is over, it SHOULD be your turn to takeover the remote control.
- 9pm WE - New* Episode of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera; One of my fave guilty pleasures.
- 10pm MTV - New* Episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York; It's the first episode of the new series of Kim & Kourtney Kardashian up to no good in NYC. Ifyou miss it, they are replaying it at 11pm.
